Just a spoonful of sugar
So I went to make cinnamon sugar toast today and there were these white maggot looking things in my sugar! I couldn't believe it. I scooped some out and realized that they weren't maggots, but grains of rice. I opened the container of flour and found the same thing. I asked Paul about it and he told me that Asher had done it, but he thought he had scooped most of the rice out. MOST of the rice. Hmmmm. So a little bit of crunch in your sugar is no big deal.

Daddy's Boy
Asher has been a Daddy's boy from the time he was 10 months old until about 3 months ago at which time he decided I was the one he couldn't live without; it was fun while it lasted. I drove cars with him and kissed his owies. It was really nice that he remembered me again. Well, he has reverted back to being a Daddy's Boy. The bright side is that he wants Paul to change his diapers. I do love watching my boys together. Paul never entirely grew up so he can come up with the best ways to entertain Asher. If I leave the two of them alone I always come home to "forts" set up in the living room. I guess I still have my Madeleine, she thinks I'm pretty terrific.

My First Post!

Paul and I are getting old, so we now know too many people to keep in touch with. I hope this becomes a way to reconnect with friends that we've lost touch with. We've been married for four years and live in Pasco, WA. Neither one of us is native to the Tri-Cities, but we both love it here. Paul is a civil engineer and I am a stay at home Mom. We have two children, Asher who just turned 2 and Madeleine who is 6 months old.
