Here's a funny story from this week. As back ground, we've moved Madeleine in to share a room with Asher. They love it...a little too much. We have to put Asher to bed first (since he doesn't take a nap) and then Maddie a little later, otherwise they just run around like crazies.
Monday night Paul went in to check on the kids before we went to bed and found this.
Madeleine had tucked herself in under her bed. He put her back to bed and there were no incidents. The next day, however, Maddie skipped her nap and so she went to bed before Asher. When Paul put Asher to bed he again found her sleeping under her bed, but this time all the way underneath, against the back wall. He left her for fear of waking her up so soon after going down and promised to come back later to move her into bed.
An hour later we could hear Maddie screaming. We rushed in to find her still under the bed, but now pinned in by a deeply asleep Asher, who had joined her under the bed. And so begins Madeleine's claustrophobia.

That is hilarious about them sleeping under the bed. I don't think that's quite what tucking someone in bed means... "in", not "under"... too funny.
yes, putting two kids in the same room can be quite the adventure! it can be total chaos at 2 am! love the stories. and holy cow what a fun jumpy thing. madeleine is a-dorable!

Didn't Asher used to get between the mattresses of his bed? That's so funny that your kids come up with sleeping in weird spots! Poor Madeleine stuck under the bed! That would have freaked me out!

I played this about three times a few minutes ago! And your Dad said, "Hey what am I chopped liver?" So I'm thinking that you owe him one. And likely Paul's parents too... Those cute little voices can't be beat! Mom
Your kids are so funny. Hey, I wanted to tell you that Barlow made a new header for our blog, and it says, "With a name like Tuckers, it has to be good". He was so proud of it and thought it was so clever, I just couldn't bring myself to tell him to change it. Anyway, I didn't want you to think I was the biggest stupid copier in the world when you saw it. I'll try to think of something better and ask him to fix it! :-)
